Community Center

The Lake Naomi Community Center opened in May 2007 and is unlike anything you'll find in the Poconos. The facility rivals those at any resort with its indoor pool, sauna, gym and state of the art fitness center. Lake Naomi Club has always had an outstanding recreational program with activities for all ages, and the new Community Center now plays host to many of them. On any given day at the center, you will find a flurry of activity. You might find a game of Adult Bridge, Swim Lessons, a Basket Ball Game, Soccer Lessons, Mommy and Me activities, Pre-Teen & Teen Dances, Volley Ball Tournaments, Ceramics Classes, Book Club Meetings, a Kids Carnival or even morning Yoga Lessons. Whether you choose to enjoy the facilities on your own, or join in one of the many scheduled activities, you'll find the center alive with activity. Indoor Pool, Hot Tub & Sauna

The indoor pool features a zero-depth design which provides a gentle introduction into the water, and is kind to toddlers and older or physically challenged individuals. Adjacent is an adult whirlpool and saunas.

Fitness Center

At the fitness center you will find several cardio machines; treadmills, elliptical trainers, recumbent bicycles, each with their own flat screen tv with cable television. There are also a large variety of weight machines and free weights, plus a mat area with exercise balls. Adjacent to the fitness center is a group exercise studio where aerobic, yoga and pilates classes are held.

Kid's Recreational Programs

There are several classrooms/activity rooms set aside fro children recreational programs. Included is Kid's Klub and summer camps. There are also nightly recreational programs to keep kids busy in the evenings during summer.

Sports

The center has a multi-purpose room with a special floor (to allow use for basketball, tennis, as well as community meetings and other events). Outdoors you'll find an outdoor covered pavilion (for group activities including barbecues, movie nights and will be flooded in the winter for ice skating, multi-purpose outdoor sports field, half-court basketball courts and volleyball court, lighted platform tennis court, jogging/walking path and cross country ski trail.

Activity Room Areas

There are several activity rooms which are used for Kid’s Klub, adult activities and recreation programs. There is a dedicated art room, quiet, adult activity room/library, game room/teen center with pool table, ping pong, foosball, arcade games and lounge area, plus wireless internet access.

Lake & Beaches

There are three lakes and two ponds within the community. Swimming and Boating are the seasonal favorites during warmer months. The largest lake is Lake Naomi, a crystal clear lake with a three mile perimeter, and 4 islands for exploring. Lake Naomi has 5 sand beaches. Club Beach, located on Lake Naomi has a snack bar, phone, changing facilities, and bathrooms and sits just below the Clubhouse. Club Beach is also the center of the sailing club. Deer Trail Lake, which is off the beaten path, offers a secluded atmosphere and features a private beach. Tall Timber Lake covers 32 acres and is located Timber Trails, which is adjacent to Lake Naomi and bordered on the north by the State Game Lands. Fishing

Located in Lake Naomi is a small trout pond and stream, both which offer good fishing. The lakes and streams within the Lake Naomi Club are stocked with fish. Fishing licenses are required for those of age. Catch and release is encouraged.

Sailing & Boating

Boating, except for outboard motor types, is permitted. You'll find many kayaks, canoes and sailboats on the lake. The Lake Naomi Club Sailing Association administers recreational and instructional boating programs for both juniors and adults. A motorized "Safety Boat" patrols the lake during the summer season. Their job is to assist boaters in need assistance on the lake. Boat Rentals are available at Club Beach.

Pools

There are two heated outdoor swimming pools in Lake Naomi and Timber Trails. The Olympic sized pool at Lake Naomi has a beautiful view of the lake and features a snack bar which serves hot and cold meals as well as soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. There are plenty of lounges for those who just want to relax, and lap lanes and diving boards for those on the move. A volley ball court is available for use for those who enjoy some friendly competition. A kiddie pool is available for the tots with lounges and shade close by.

Swim programs are available for the young, including a superb swim team and swim lessons. Competitive swim training will be provided throughout the summer for optional pool club members to assist participants in developing stroke skills and endurance. Swimmers will have the opportunity to participate in swim meets against other private communities and local teams.

There are additional activities for Men and Women 18 years or older. Shallow Water Aerobics is a fun a healthy way to exercise in the outdoors and the Deep Water Workouts are great for no stress to the joints.

The Timber Trails pool is within walking distance of the Timber Trails tennis courts and golf course. There is a snack bar, changing facilities and bathrooms. The pool features a diving area with slide, lap lanes and a separate kiddie pool.
